Xoom Launches Xoom Bill Pay

Xoom, one of the leading digital money transfer companies in the world has just announced the launch of a new service called Xoom Bill Pay. This particular service is one that will let people send money or pay bills for their loved ones, no matter where those bills across several borders. At the moment, the service is being used in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.

"Xoom Bill Pay is completely changing the way cross-border bills get paid to Mexico and other countries, by providing a new and innovative experience for customers to pay bills in just a few clicks or taps," said Bobby Aitkenhead, Vice President of Xoom Bill Pay. "Now, immigrants can easily pay their loved ones bills online, from the United States. This helps Xoom customers save their loved ones from the hassle and risk of paying their bills in person."

Xoom has been making some moves over the last few months in order to be a company that can better stand out among the crowd.  The launch of Xoom Bill Pay might be one of its biggest steps. The service allows users to pay electricity, telephone, Internet, cable, water and gas bills from their phone, tablet or computer. The service is facilitating the bill payments to the most important utility providers in the county, but the company is apparently working on making the service bigger and more encompassing in the very near future.

This kind of service is especially important in developing countries because wages can be low. On the flipside, utility companies tend to have less patience for issues like late payments and partial payments. Being able to pay the bill for someone means bringing real aid and comfort to them in a way that can feel like a life saver.
