Dominos Announces Google Wallet Integration with Android App

Dominos Pizza changed the way they made their pizzas and since then, the company has taken some major steps in order to become more technologically advanced. It wasn’t that long ago the company was just working on launching its own ordering application for Windows Phone 8. Now the company has announced it is fully integrated with Google Wallet.

There is one catch, in that Google Wallet is only going to be compatible with Android devices, but, most likely integration will be coming to those who use iPhones sooner rather than later.  The addition to the Android smartphone and tablet application will make it that much easier to pay for your pizza orders without having to go to your physical wallet.

In order to get more people to use this new feature, Dominos rolled out a new feature that will get mouths watering. When Android customers place an order using the app that totals more than $10 and they select the “Buy with Google” button during their checkout, they will also get a free order of the company’s new specialty chicken. That order does have an expiration date and will come to an end on June 15. Those who do not have a Google Wallet account just yet can sign up for one through the same Dominos application.

"This is yet another way Domino's is using technology to improve our customer experience," Patrick Doyle, Domino's Pizza president and chief executive officer said in a statement announcing the integration. "Google Wallet is a great technology that allows customers even more flexibility and convenience when it comes to paying for their Domino's orders."

Google Wallet has had a bit of a problems getting adopted by big time retailers and restaurants but, the integration with Dominos is certainly a step in the right direction.
