FTS Launches New Payments Solution for E-commerce and Mobile Payments

FTS, the Israeli provider of billing, charging, customer care, and policy control solutions, has launched the FTS Smart Payments Enabling Solution, a new e-commerce and m-commerce focused solution for payments.

According to the company’s statement, FTS Smart Payments Enabling Solutions aims to deliver more effective card payment processing, digital merchant acquiring, and revenue sharing procedures. The solution automates billing and communicates with other bodies such as payment service providers (PSP) and independent sales organizations (ISO).

The solution, which is available either through the cloud or with an on-premises model, is customizable for different businesses supporting different languages and currencies. FTS goes onto say that its solution makes payments “smoother, easier, and simpler to manage.”

The graphical user interface allows for easy configuration of pricing, payments, and commissioning plans.  FTS’s new solution also includes a revenue sharing model for companies to provide tailored payment solutions.

FTS previously offered the Leap Billing solution, where businesses could manage billing, charging, and customer care.

“FTS has now shifted Leap Billing into the realm of card payment processing, digital merchant acquiring and innovative revenue sharing procedures,” said CEO Nir Asulin, with this new solution marking an important move for the company going further into online and mobile commerce.

“The versatility of Leap Billing has allowed us to move beyond traditional telecom billing and successfully contend with the rapidly changing needs of the dynamic payments market’s business challenges, especially in regard to sophisticated new commercial models and revenue sharing schemes,” he added.
