Square Register, a mobile payment processing solution, will now offer companies everything they need to process payments, track sales, and share item and location information – all from in-house.
The application, Square Register, was originally designed as a way to accept credit card payments on your mobile phone or iPad for ecommerce and on-the-go vendors. The company has advertised its free secure card reader, which plugs into an Apple device, to read card swipes and process payment securely.
In addition, the processing fees were a lot lower than if the vendor used a traditional credit card machine. Instead, the vendor would only have to pay 2.57 percent per swipe for all major credit cards – or if you are processing high volumes you can cap your payment by paying a flat $275 per month.
As Square Register became more popular, the demand to bring it in-store was reaching an all time high. More and more brick-and-mortar storeowners began implementing the easy-to-use program into their daily transactions.
“Neighborhood merchants are increasingly adopting Square Register for its simple interface, smart analytics, continuous updates, and low processing fees,” said Square Register in a statement. “With Business in a Box for Square Register, merchants can now simplify their countertop with an affordable and comprehensive package that includes two Square Readers, an iPad stand, a cash drawer, and an optional receipt printer.”
One company in Forth Worth, Texas is already taking advantage of the new business all in one package. “We’re a neighborhood business that has been in the community for more than 13 years and we need to make smart decisions so we can make great bagels for decades to come,” said Holly Pils of Boopa’s Bagel Deli.
“My customers and employees love Square and it could not have been simpler or quicker to set up. Square has saved us time and money. It is truly a blessing,” she said.
To answer the demands of its customers, Square Register has made its special package for in-store customers live on its website. Now, business owners can piece together multiple hardware components all in one place without having to spend thousands on a new program.
Hardware packages start at just $300 and are able to be fully personalized to handle any businesses financial needs.
